READY TO START PREPARING FOR AN EMERGENCY ?

Starting the journey is not as daunting a task as you may think. Allow the region of the country you live in be your guide and friend.

Start with a few questions that are quick and easy to answer.

1. What Natural Weather Events are common for your area? Floods, Blizzards, Hurricanes, etc.

2. What Man-Made Events may occur? Chemical Plants nearby, Nuclear Reactor Meltdown, Company Strikes and Shutdowns

Food and Water are the most important things to consider. These two items will fit each scenario that you prepare for.

Two types of food to store for emergencies of any kind. Short Term and Long Term Food.

1. Grocery Store Items would be considered Short Term Food Storage.

2. Freeze Dried Food would be considered Long Term Food Storage.

Water is very important for drinking, hygiene, and cooking. Storing water is important for everyday purposes if you live on a municipal water supply or a private well. Two gallons of water per person per day is a standard recommendation.
